About Kobatela

Trust
deserves a method.

We are developing a more structured way to monitor projects funded from a distance. Connecting documents, on-site observations and decisions.

A house project illustrating the challenge of visibility from a distance.

The starting point

It started with
a family's house project.

As a teenager, Jeffrey Mbongopasi watched his mother put her savings into a house project in Africa. In the story he has shared publicly, he explains that the money sent did not lead to the expected result.

This experience raises a simple question: how can you maintain a clear view of a project you fund when you cannot be there in person?

The answer cannot rely only on a reassuring promise or one more photo. You need to know what you are trying to establish, when, and with what evidence. That is the approach behind Kobatela.

Today, we are turning it into a clear monitoring plan: stages, specific checks, a calendar and an estimate. The simulation lets you explore this work before any commercial discussion.

Our method

Three dimensions, one shared question.

01

Documents

What was planned, ordered, invoiced or reported?

02

On-site observations

What is observable at the location and time of the check?

03

Cross-checking

Does the information concern the same subject and period? What still needs clarification?

The people behind the project

The team and strategic advice.
